Jessica M. Christiansen joined our firm in August 2012. A graduate of UMKC Law School, Jessica grew up in Jefferson City and is the youngest daughter of Mary Browning. During law school, Jessica worked as an intern for the Cole County Prosecutor’s Office. Jessica was also enrolled in the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office Clinic in the Major Crimes Unit and the Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit. While working on her J.D., Jessica also worked as an intern for Mary J. Browning, assisting with appellate cases, research and legal writing projects. Prior to attending law school, Jessica spent several years working as the operations manager for a mortgage company.

Jessica’s primary focus is family law including the areas of divorce, modification, child support/maintenance, child custody, and paternity actions. She is certified to practice as a Guardian ad Litem. Jessica is proud to work with her family law clients as they work through matters that are often complex and extremely emotional.

She also handles traffic tickets and debt negotiation. Jessica brings energy, dedication, and experience to our firm.

In May of 2018, Jessica was selected for inclusion in the 2018-2019 edition of The Who's Who Directories as a "Top Attorney" in North America.
